Gold and jewellery cost calculator

Uses the latest market rate shown on this site. Enter the making charge quoted by your shop; stones, taxes and other premiums are excluded.

Calculating…

Tola = 11.6638038 g; troy ounce = 31.1034768 g.

Use a shop quote line by line

Enter the same carat and net weight printed on the item. Add the making charge shown by the shop, then compare the estimate with the quoted total.

What remains outside the calculation

Gemstones, taxes, delivery, brand value and buyback terms can all change the final cost. Check each of these before making a payment decision.

Practical answers

Calculator questions

Does the calculator include making charges?

Yes. You can enter a making charge per gram or one total charge. Stones, taxes and other retailer costs remain separate unless you add them yourself.

Which weight unit should I use?

Use the same unit used on the shop quotation. The calculator can convert grams, tola, troy ounces and the configured weight units.

Is the result a purchase price?

It is an estimate based on the market rate and values you enter. Confirm the complete invoice, including the carat, net weight and return terms, with the seller.
